These are not off the shelf Performance Transmissions...these are made to order. The reason is due to the many variations that you the buyer have. We accommodate each order on a one to one basis. Does this cost more? No, in fact we keep production cost down in this way. We don't have to over stock parts, we order them as needed. Whether you want a super build with all high end top of the line components, such as Alto Red Eagle, Raybestos series one or two, kolene steels, extra wide Alto or kevlar bands, super servo’s, pressure regulated boost valves, or mild or moderate upgrades, the configurations are countless. Don't forget to upgrade your E4OD or 4R100 with a HD billet torque converter, or a high stall torque converter for your AOD, AODE, 4R70W.

The Ford C6 transmission was a heavy-duty automatic transmission built between 1966 and 1996. Three forward speeds and reverse, and was built around a Simpson planetary gearset.
It was very similar to the C4 transmission but could handle greater power. The transmission is very popular in the sport of drag racing today, with units equipped with manual valve bodies and transbrakes, was also used in some larger cars with larger engines and were air shifted.
